Location: Cary, NC (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite from Tuesday to Thursday, 2 Days Remote - Monday & Friday)
We are seeking an Order Management Specialist (SAP/GHX/EDI) to support the Healthcare Diagnostics business by ensuring seamless processing of customer orders across SAP, eCommerce, GHX, and EDI platforms. This role is responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience by managing electronic orders, resolving order and system issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate has experience in SAP order management, electronic data interchange (EDI), and healthcare supply chain processes, along with strong analytical, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Process, manage, and monitor customer orders using SAP and eCommerce platforms.
- Support inbound and outbound customer communications regarding order processing, product availability, and eCommerce services.
- Onboard healthcare customers to GHX and EDI ordering platforms by partnering with customers and internal IT teams.
- Investigate and resolve SAP production issues, order failures, invoice exceptions, and electronic transaction errors.
- Collaborate with IT, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Technical Support to resolve complex order management issues.
- Monitor daily order processing reports to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Promote customer adoption of eCommerce ordering solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Identify root causes of recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
- Escalate customer concerns appropriately while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support compliance with established business processes.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. A bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in SAP Order Management, Customer Operations, or Order Processing.
- Experience working with GHX and EDI transactions.
- Experience supporting eCommerce order management or electronic ordering platforms.
- Experience within the Healthcare, Diagnostics, Medical Device, or Life Sciences industry.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
