We are seeking a strategic Sr. Manager, SAP Financial Systems – Treasury to serve as the global business product owner for all Treasury capabilities within our SAP S/4HANA ecosystem. In this high-impact, cross-functional role, you will partner with Treasury process owners and Global IT to own the end-to-end design, deployment, and governance of a robust, scalable system integrated with Financial Accounting (FI), Cash & Liquidity Management, Banking, In-House Cash, and Risk Management. As a design authority with strong stakeholder-influence skills, you will drive technical and functional alignment across a global template to support future enterprise growth. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated collaborator who thrives in a diverse, international team of finance and technology experts, building strong partnerships to leverage technology for next-generation initiatives.
This position is based out of the Piscataway, NJ location. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
What you'll do
- Strategic Partnership: Translate Treasury objectives into robust SAP solution designs while educating senior leaders on standard capabilities, integration constraints, and best practices.
- Design Authority: Drive complex, cross-module design decisions and resolve architectural conflicts where Treasury requirements interface with the enterprise template.
- Architecture Governance: Define and maintain the target-state architecture for all Treasury functions, including Cash Management, In-House Cash, Payments, Risk Management, and Accounting.
- Seamless Integration: Own the comprehensive integration map linking core financial modules (FI/CO), external platforms, banks, trading platforms, and market data providers.
- Global Standardization: Align Treasury functionality with global process standards to ensure design consistency and eliminate unauthorized localized system fragmentation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Global IT, cross-functional teams, and System Integrators to manage change control processes and resolve integration dependencies.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- SAP Treasury Expertise: 5+ years of experience in SAP Finance, with deep expertise in TRM, Cash & Liquidity Management, Bank Account Management, and FI/CO integration.
- Implementation Leadership: Proven track record of leading large SAP implementations or global S/4HANA transformations, including managing cross-functional technical teams and external resources.
- Design Authority: Demonstrated ability to set architectural standards, govern solution designs, align complex cross-module requirements, and write detailed functional/technical specifications.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of core financial accounting, including journal postings, month-end close processes, payment processing, and bank reconciliation.
- Stakeholder Influence: Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to influence senior Finance and Treasury leaders by translating complex SAP concepts into clear business terms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Treasury & Risk Acumen: Solid understanding of treasury products (FX, derivatives, hedging, debt) alongside familiarity with internal controls, risk frameworks, and global operating models.
- Multinational Experience: Background working within large, multinational organizations utilizing global SAP template governance and industry best practices.
- Bilingual Translation Skills: Strong English communication skills with a proven ability to translate complex business needs into technical specifications and vice versa.
- Problem Solving & Analytics: Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to efficiently diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
- Agility & Innovation: Highly flexible, adaptable, and eager to adopt and integrate new technologies as they emerge.
- Project Credentialing: Project management certifications or equivalent experience managing structured technical timelines.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $139,200.00 - $174,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
