What You Will Build Summary
Serve as the primary security authority for SAP Concur’s FedRAMP-authorized environment, establishing and maintaining the security governance and compliance portfolio required to ensure continuous ATO sustainment and risk management. Focus on strategic security governance, government stakeholder engagement, compliance strategy, and cross-functional security leadership to support contract security requirements and federal compliance obligations.
The Role
Own contract security governance and compliance strategy, including oversight of all contract security functionality, documentation, and deliverables, incident response frameworks, and coordination with the Contract PMO ISSO for vulnerability scans, POA&Ms, assessments, change management, and security requirements. Lead security authorization and sustainment strategy, defining the approach for ATO maintenance, continuous monitoring program design, and control assessment coordination. Engage as the primary point of contact with government stakeholders (FISMA, OMB, agency representatives) regarding compliance status, assessment findings, incident notifications, strategic security posture, and authorization package strategy.
Develop and execute security governance frameworks that integrate compliance controls, proactive risk reduction, and operational efficiency while supporting compliant, rapid deployments Define key security metrics, KPIs, and compliance dashboards that demonstrate control effectiveness, risk posture, and incident response capability to government and internal leadership. Provide strategic security guidance to cross-functional teams (Engineering, SRE, Cloud Operations, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Customer Support) on FedRAMP control requirements, implementation strategy, and compliance best practices. Advise senior leadership on security resource allocation, organizational structure, and long-term strategic planning to sustain FedRAMP compliance and government contract security posture.
Lead incident response strategy and post-incident compliance activities, including government notification protocols, remediation oversight, and compliance documentation. Subject matter expert on emerging cyber-security laws, policies, and regulations What you bring Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent professional certifications and documented security experience demonstrating equivalent expertise) CISSP certification 12+ years of progressive experience in information security, compliance, governance, or ISSO/ISSM roles, with demonstrated success managing FedRAMP, FISMA, or equivalent federal compliance programs at scale Deep expertise and fluency in FedRAMP requirements, NIST SP 800-53 controls, continuous monitoring, security assessment methodologies, and federal compliance frameworks Proven leadership in security authorization processes, including ATO package strategy, control assessment coordination, and ongoing compliance sustainment at enterprise scale Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to engage government representatives, align cross-functional leadership teams, and influence strategic security decisions Strongly preferred prior experience with GSA and DHS cyber security teams and working knowledge of GSA and DHS security policies and regulations Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience designing and implementing security governance programs that balance compliance rigor with operational efficiency and support rapid, secure deployments Proficiency in security strategy and compliance metrics, with ability to develop meaningful KPIs and dashboards that communicate security posture to government and executive audiences Strong understanding of incident response frameworks and crisis management, including government notification requirements, documentation standards, and compliance escalation procedures Ability to pass an HSPD-12 T2S Public Trust background investigation Where You Belong Welcome to the Security and Compliance Team— we drive security, compliance, and data protection governance across ENTERPRISE’s product.As a diverse and forward-thinking team, we are energized by the wide range of topics we tackle—from regulatory strategy and audit readiness to control design and risk enablement.
