Title: SAP S/4HANA Service Consultant
Location: Wilmington, MA - On Site
Overview: We’re looking for a senior SAP S/4HANA Service consultant to lead and support end-to-end implementations in complex enterprise landscapes. This role will own solution design and delivery across S/4HANA Service (Customer/Vendor Warranty claim, Field Service/In-House Repair), tightly integrated with SD, MM, PP, LE, and FI/CO, with a strong focus on warranty (customer and vendor), serialization, and cross-functional processes.
Key responsibilities
Lead projects using SAP Activate: Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run.
Own functional design for S/4HANA Service scenarios: in-house repair (RMA, repair orders, repair quotations), service contracts, service orders, resource planning, time & material, and integration with billing.
Design and configure warranty processes: customer and vendor warranty claims, entitlements, authorization checks, parts/labor coverage, credit/debit memo handling, and recovery from vendors.
Implement serialization and equipment/master data: equipment records, serial number management, install base, device history, and integration with logistics and finance.
Integrate SD with Service for seamless lead-to-cash and service-to-cash: quotations, sales orders, delivery, billing (FI-AR), returns, and repair loops.
Define cross-module integration: MM for spare parts planning/procurement, PP/PM/CS as relevant, LE for shipping/returns, FI/CO for revenue recognition, controlling, and settlement.
Champion Clean Core: leverage standard processes, Fiori apps, key-user extensibility, and BTP side-by-side extensions where needed.
Drive data migration strategy (BP, equipment, installed base, warranties, pricing), test management (unit/SIT/UAT), cutover planning, and hyper care.
Lead client workshops, write functional specs, guide ABAP/UI5 teams, and deliver end-user training and documentation.
Advise on S/4HANA roadmap.
