Job Opportunity: SAP Program Manager – AMS & S/4HANA
Location: Lake Forest, IL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Salary: $155K – $160K (Base) + Benefits

Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Program Manager to lead large-scale SAP AMS and S/4HANA programs. This role will own end-to-end delivery, drive operational excellence, and manage multi-vendor environments while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in SAP ECC/S/4HANA AMS operations, stakeholder management, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Delivery Management
- Own end-to-end delivery of SAP AMS and S/4HANA programs
- Manage KPIs, SLAs, and overall program performance aligned with business goals
- Drive governance cadence: daily, weekly, monthly reviews, and QBRs
AMS Operations Leadership
- Oversee Incident, Service Request, and Problem Management processes
- Lead continuous service improvement initiatives, including automation and AI-driven efficiencies
- Ensure system stability, performance, and availability
S/4HANA & SAP Ecosystem
- Lead S/4HANA implementations (preferably Greenfield)
- Manage SAP ecosystem including ECC and integrated applications
- Collaborate with functional teams across SD, MM, FICO modules
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as primary SPOC for business and IT stakeholders
- Manage multi-vendor delivery model (onsite/offshore teams)
- Build strong client relationships and drive strategic alignment
Team Leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams across geographies
- Drive accountability, performance, and delivery excellence
Required Skills & Experience
- 15+ years of experience in SAP program/delivery management
- Strong experience in SAP AMS (Application Management Services)
- Proven track record in S/4HANA implementations (Greenfield preferred)
- Hands-on functional knowledge of SAP SD, MM, FICO
- Experience managing multi-vendor and distributed teams
- Strong expertise in ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
- Experience in governance frameworks and stakeholder communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automation and AI in AMS operations
- Strong understanding of Agile and hybrid delivery models
- Ability to manage P&L and large program budgets
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
