Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent and relevant experience
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in business workshops to understand existing technology/processes and plan for new enhancements or upgrades.Gather functional and system requirements from the business.Review Solution Design Documents, analyze functional scope, estimations, and testing costs.Coordinate with Business and Development teams on functional specifications and conduct Q&A sessions.Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with Testing team.Upload requirements into Test Management tools (e.g., HP ALM) and prepare Requirement Traceability Metrics.Review Test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Estimations, and Test Schedules.Develop, manage, and track test cases throughout testing phases, adhering to testing methodologies and tools.Design test cases, execute tests, and manage defects.Oversee all aspects of the testing lifecycle, including preparation, reviews, execution, and reporting.Ensure timely completion of testing activities and
quality assurance for defect-free releases.Coordinate resources and logistics, ensuring adherence to standards.Monitor and report daily test execution progress.Ensure quality deliverables and manage defect resolution efficiently.Communicate test status, issues, and budget updates to
Project Management.Implement automation as needed to improve testing efficiency.
