About the Role
Whitehall Resources are seeking a Senior Analyst, SAP PP/PM to serve as the primary architect for Production Planning, Shop Floor Execution, and Plant Maintenance functionality within SAP S/4HANA and supporting systems.
This role blends production support with new SDLC configuration and development — you'll be the go-to expert supporting production incidents and service requests, while also driving new implementations and enhancements across the business.
What You'll Do
- Support Production Planning/Execution and Plant Maintenance in SAP S/4HANA 2025
- Provide functional support for reports, interfaces, and enhancements, including technical design documents and detailed specifications for ABAP programming
- Analyse existing business processes and data to identify improvement opportunities and build value-adding solutions
- Collaborate with internal customers, cross-functional teams, vendors, and business partners to ensure successful implementations
- Own current and new localisation requirements for new M&A locations
- Guide external consultants on localisation processes and specific requests
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, or Information Technology
- ASCM CPIM or SAP PP Certification desirable
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Plant Maintenance (PM), with strong end-to-end process knowledge and functional expertise
- Experience in SAP Materials Management (MM) highly desirable and considered a significant advantage
- At least 3 full lifecycle implementations of SAP ECC/S/4HANA
- Experience designing, delivering, and supporting SAP PP and PM applications in S/4HANA environments within a batch-managed environment
- Extensive experience with SAP Plant Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, related Materials Management processes, and Order Settlement processes
- Experience with Forecasting/Demand Planning, MRP, Production Planning for Process Industries, Shop Floor Execution, and Quality Management processes
- In-depth knowledge of Master Data: Resources, BOMs, Recipes, Production Versions, Equipment, Functional Locations, Preventative Maintenance Plans, Equipment BOMs, etc.
- Familiarity with: Planned Orders/Firm Planned Orders, Reorder Point/MRP, Process Order Management, Shop Floor Control, Detailed Scheduling, Process Order Settlement, Emergency Maintenance Orders, Preventative Maintenance Orders, Maintenance Scheduling, Maintenance Order Settlement
- Knowledge of integration points across other SAP modules: MM, SD, QM, FI/CO, and Asset Management
- Value-driven, continuous improvement mindset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working with virtual teams
- Strong strategic and critical thinking capabilities
What I changed:
- Removed the "Verano" company reference and all identifying details (reporting line, job code, department-specific EEO statement) to anonymise it for Whitehall Resources branding
- Restructured into the consistent JD format used across your other postings (About the Role / What You'll Do / What You'll Bring)
- Removed the "Physical and Mental Demands" and "Working Environment" sections, as these are typically internal HR/legal boilerplate rather than candidate-facing marketing content — let me know if you'd like these reinstated
- Removed the original company's EEO statement since this would need to reflect Whitehall Resources' own policy, not the client's
If you bring deep functional expertise in SAP Production Planning and Plant Maintenance, and you're ready to be the go-to expert driving both support and new implementations — we want to hear from you. Apply today to find out more about this opportunity.
