Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM) version 9.3 or higher.
5+ years of SAP functional experience in logistics modules.
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the following SAP TM functions:
Transportation Network Configuration
Freight Unit Building Rules (FUBR)
Freight Unit Order Tendering and Carrier Determination
CIF Integration: Model Definition, Configuration, and Error Resolution
Transportation Charge Management Configuration
SAP TM Master Data: Products, Business Partners, Dangerous Goods, Locations, Routes, Zones, Resources (Vehicles, Trailers, Handling Units)
Integration of Order Management with SAP TM
Planning: Selection Profiles, Planning Profiles, Condition-Based Optimization, Scheduling, Freight Execution
End-to-End SAP TM Processes: Inbound/Outbound Shipments (Domestic & International), Transportation Load Building (FTL, LTL), Package Building (Mixed Products, Layer Building)
Shipper Scenarios across multiple modes: Road, Rail, Ocean, and Air
Transportation Execution: Carrier Selection, Tendering, Delivery and Shipment Proposals
Freight Settlement: Charge Management, Calculation, Settlement, and Cost Distribution
Experience with full project lifecycle implementations is highly desired.
Working knowledge of RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, BDCs, User Exits, and Enhancement Points.
Experience with TM queue processing.
Strong understanding of ABAP interfaces, including IDOCs, BAPIs, and RFCs, as well as middleware integrations and flat file processing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) integration and configuration experience is a strong plus.
Cross-functional experience with SAP ECC modules (e.g., MM, PM) preferred.
Experience working in Agile project environments is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Participate in developing functional requirements, performing system testing, conducting training sessions, and supporting application implementation.
Conduct business process analysis, needs assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to align IT solutions with business objectives.
Facilitate the implementation and ongoing support of SAP TM modules to optimize business processes and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Implement and configure SAP Transportation Management to meet client-specific logistics and transportation needs.
