On behalf of our manufacturing client, Procom is searching for a SAP S4/HANA Preventive Maintenance Lead for a 12 month contract role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Sturtevant, Wisconsin office.
SAP S4/HANA Preventive Maintenance Lead - Job Description:
The SAP S/4HANA Preventive Maintenance Lead will be responsible for leading the design, transition, implementation, and stabilization of preventive maintenance processes as the organization migrates from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. This role will serve as a key liaison between Maintenance, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Validation, Supply Chain, and IT to ensure preventive maintenance processes are standardized, compliant, efficient, and fully supported in the future-state ERP environment.
SAP S4/HANA Preventive Maintenance Lead - Responsibilities:
• Lead the transition of preventive maintenance processes from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
• Document current-state processes, define future-state design, and identify process or system gaps.
• Support fit-gap workshops, testing, cutover planning, stabilization, and hypercare activities.
• Standardize preventive maintenance processes across business functions and operating areas.
• Ensure preventive maintenance processes align with GMP, quality, validation, and compliance requirements.
• Lead master data readiness activities for equipment records, task lists, maintenance plans, and related data.
• Execute and support testing activities, including user acceptance testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
• Develop training materials and support user readiness, adoption, and change management efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Maintenance, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Validation, Supply Chain, and IT.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and help define KPIs to measure preventive maintenance performance.
SAP S4/HANA Preventive Maintenance Lead - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance, SAP PM/EAM, manufacturing operations, or a related environment.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA implementations strongly preferred.
• Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments, preferably within medical device or life sciences.
• Strong process design, problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
SAP S4/HANA Preventive Maintenance Lead – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Direct experience in the medical device industry.
• Working knowledge of GMP, FDA, ISO, and validation requirements.
• Experience using maintenance performance metrics such as MTBF, MTTR, schedule compliance, equipment reliability, and maintenance backlog.
