OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Sales Functional Lead with strong expertise in Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes. This role is responsible for leading sales process design, supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations and transformations, driving user acceptance testing (UAT), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective business solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements, use cases, and process challenges.
• Design, develop, and deliver solutions using appropriate tools, technologies, and methodologies.
• Assess business and application requirements and recommend suitable solution approaches.
• Create and review high-level solution and process designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, designers, finance, supply chain, and master data teams.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and support quality gate reviews.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts.
• Apply software development and delivery best practices, including testing, integration, and deployment methodologies.
• Support data security practices and compliance requirements.
• Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and capabilities where appropriate.
• Review SAP S/4HANA Sales configuration impacts and support solution decisions.
• Manage integration-related issues and coordinate resolution efforts across connected systems.
• Communicate project risks, trade-offs, and readiness assessments to stakeholders.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 7–12+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Order-to-Cash (OTC), and/or SAP Sales functional leadership.
• 1–2+ years of SAP S/4HANA implementation experience or ECC-to-S/4HANA transformation experience with OTC ownership.
• Deep knowledge of pricing, order management, delivery, and billing processes and controls.
• Experience with or knowledge of SAP Vehicle Management Solution (VMS) and its integration with Order-to-Cash, Finance, and Logistics processes.
• Strong cross-functional leadership experience working with Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Master Data teams.
• Demonstrated ability to make fit-to-standard decisions and effectively manage scope.
• SAP S/4HANA Sales functional expertise with the ability to assess configuration impacts.
• Experience leading UAT activities and enforcing quality standards.
• Knowledge of integrations including EDI, middleware, tax interfaces, payment interfaces, and issue triage.
• Strong executive-level communication skills.
• Experience with Settlement Management/Rebates, Output Management (BRF+), and Fiori applications.
• Exposure to SAP SD/VMS processes, Finance integration, and customer/dealer portal integrations.
• Experience working with complex pricing environments.
