Position Overview
As part of Client’s ERP Transformation initiative, the organization is migrating multiple ERP systems to a unified SAP S/4HANA platform. The IT division is seeking an experienced SAP testing professional to support creation, execution, and maintenance of test scripts for complex SAP S/4HANA business processes across an integrated enterprise landscape.
This role will support end-to-end testing activities for SAP S/4HANA deployments and quarterly releases, focusing on validating business process integrity across functional areas, integrations, environments, and transports.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with:
- SAP business process testing
- Defect management
- Test planning and execution
- Cross-functional coordination with technical teams and business stakeholders
- Large-scale ERP transformation initiatives
Scope of Work
Lead testing activities across SAP modules and integrated business processes, including:
- Order to Cash (OTC)
- Procure to Pay (PTP)
- Record to Report (RTR/RTP)
- Logistics Execution / Extended Warehouse Management (LES/EWM)
- Quality and related business processes (QAR)
- Finance and Controlling
This role is responsible for helping ensure SAP S/4HANA solutions are validated across:
- Integrated process flows
- Business scenarios
- Quarterly releases
- Project deployments
- Regression testing cycles
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SAP business process test scenarios and test scripts for SAP S/4HANA deployments
- Support test planning and test execution for project implementations, releases, regression cycles, and retesting activities
- Manage and maintain a master test scenario library for reuse, traceability, and regression coverage
- Identify testing scope required for quarterly releases, enhancement deployments, and project milestones
- Establish traceability between project requirements and testing scenarios
- Log, track, and manage defects using OpenText ALM / Quality Center
- Document issue details, reproducibility steps, and business impact
- Report testing progress, defect status, risks, and issue resolution updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate with configurators, developers, and Process Delivery Leads to validate fixes and conduct retesting
- Partner with business users during test preparation, execution, issue clarification, and results review
- Validate end-to-end process execution across integrated SAP modules
- Support regression testing to ensure transports, releases, and system changes do not impact existing functionality
- Work within complex SAP landscapes and transport paths to align testing with appropriate environments and releases
- Support test readiness activities including test data coordination, scenario preparation, and execution tracking
- Ensure testing documentation remains complete, current, and aligned with deployment needs
Required Experience
- 5+ years of SAP business process testing and test execution experience
- 2+ years of manufacturing industry experience
- Participation in at least one full end-to-end SAP implementation
- Experience working in complex SAP landscapes with transport management
- Experience with defect management processes and tools
- Experience supporting multi-country SAP implementations
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager and/or Focused Build
- Experience gathering requirements, developing specifications, supporting design/prototyping, testing, training, and implementing business solutions under tight deadlines
Required Skills
- SAP S/4HANA functional and technical knowledge
- Strong understanding of integrated SAP business process testing across multiple modules
- Experience creating and maintaining test scenarios, scripts, and test evidence
- Experience supporting project deployments, release cycles, and regression testing
- Hands-on experience with OpenText ALM / Quality Center
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
