Job Description:
Provide 24x7 production support for SAP SCM modules (preferred: MM, PP, SD, APO), ensuring minimal business disruption and SLA adherence.
Act as the primary point of contact for incident management, troubleshooting, and resolving L2/L3 issues in live production environments.
Participate in transition activities from project to support, including knowledge transfer, documentation, and stabilization of SAP systems.
Analyze, debug, and resolve issues using ABAP skills (debugging, enhancements, user exits, BADIs, reports).
Work closely with cross-functional teams to handle integration issues across SAP modules and with external systems (IDocs, RFCs, APIs).
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes to improve system stability.
Monitor system performance, job failures, interfaces, and proactively identify risks in the production environment.
Support change management activities, including impact analysis, transport management, and post-deployment validation.
Collaborate with business users to understand issues, provide functional solutions, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Maintain comprehensive support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base for continuous improvement and faster resolution times.
Key Requirements:
Strong experience in SAP SCM modules (MM/PP/SD/APO preferred)
Proven experience in production support projects (mandatory)
Hands-on ABAP debugging and development experience
Experience in 24x7 support model (shift-based/on-call)
Strong knowledge of integration (IDocs, interfaces, third-party systems)
Experience in incident/problem/change management processes (ITIL preferred)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
