About The Team
Global Business AI Marketing sits at the center of SAP’s enterprise AI transformation. The organization drives end to end integration of AI within the company in addition to portfolio positioning, brand alignment (including Joule), product marketing, flagship event strategy, launch excellence, and enablement as well as advocacy and thought leadership across a complex global ecosystem.
This role reports to and partners directly with the CMO of Business AI and operates as the integrator of the function across the company — ensuring strategic coherence, financial discipline, operational rigor, executive readiness, customer alignment, and sustained transformation momentum.
The role spans strategy, rhythm of the business, portfolio governance, executive engagement, business management, and organizational and operational rigor and performance.
What You’ll Do
Business AI Portfolio Management
- Translate enterprise AI strategy into integrated marketing portfolio priorities and execution roadmaps for AI Marketing team with leadership.
- Drive portfolio marketing governance across AI workstreams, ensuring coherence between master brand positioning and product-level messaging x-company.
- Contribute to alignment of flagship events, launch motions, and narrative sequencing to long-term portfolio direction.
- Partner closely with AI CMO leadership to align roadmap timing, disclosure governance, and market readiness.
- Serve as marketing’s integrator and contributor across AI programs.
Executive Integration & Market Leadership
- Act as strategic advisor and operational extension to the CMO of Business AI.
- Lead executive readiness for global customer briefings, analyst engagements, board updates, and high-profile keynote moments.
- Develop structured decision frameworks, briefing materials, and risk assessments to support executive velocity and performance.
- Ensure alignment between external messaging, portfolio ambition, and commercial realities.
- Convert executive engagements into actionable, cross-functional follow-through that positively impact the business.
Business Management & Investment Plan
- Own annual operating planning, quarterly business reviews, and portfolio-level investment prioritization.
- Lead OKR design and KPI governance linking marketing activities to measurable AI growth outcomes.
- Drive budget strategy, headcount planning (NTE vs. open HC), and multi-scenario investment modeling.
- Partner with Finance to ensure forecasting accuracy, spend governance, and risk mitigation.
- Align marketing capital allocation directly to enterprise AI transformation priorities and collaborate across all Marketing investments to ensure maximum efficiency and ROI of spend.
Rhythm of Business & Governance Architecture
- Design and oversee the AI Marketing Rhythm of Business, including leadership cadences, planning cycles, KPI dashboards, and executive reporting structures.
- Establish accountability frameworks, milestone governance, and escalation pathways across distributed teams.
- Oversee procurement processes, vendor governance, compliance documentation, and audit readiness.
- Drive execution discipline during periods of rapid transformation and organizational change.
- Facilitate offsites, agendas and team building exercises that ensure successful operational and execution smooth rhythm.
AI Transformation Leadership
- Represent and lead marketing integration within cross-functional enterprise AI transformation initiatives.
- Identify structural collaboration across Product, Engineering, CTO, Field, and Regional Marketing teams and serve as an enabler of success across functions.
- Facilitate executive alignment workshops and global strategic offsites.
- Drive operating model refinement to enable scale and sustained growth.
Organizational Design & Health
- Define operating charters and role clarity across Product Marketing, Portfolio Marketing, Advocacy, Enablement, Narrative, and Events teams.
- Identify capability gaps and drive strategic hiring and workforce planning decisions.
- Reinforce performance systems, including annual evaluation alignment and professional standards integration.
- Monitor organizational health, structural sustainability, and leadership alignment.
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology across strategy, marketing, operations, or business management.
- Demonstrated experience and executive maturity partnering closely with C-level or SVP-level executives in global environments.
- Strong product marketing and portfolio strategy literacy.
- Deep financial acumen, including budget ownership and headcount investment strategy.
- Experience running enterprise-scale performance systems (OKRs, KPIs, RoB).
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional transformation and influencing without direct authority.
- Exceptional collaboration skills, executive presence, synthesis capability, and judgment.
- Experience navigating global governance, procurement, and compliance frameworks.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted annual combined range for this position is 193400-420200USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
