SAP Labs, LLC. seeks a Software Development Intern for the Research & Innovation team at our Palo Alto, CA location responsible for development, focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of complex software and technology innovation in a development team.
- Work as a developer (full stack) in an agile team setup on innovative applications and prototypes, with AI focus.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset. Passion for innovation with emerging technologies.
- Build prototypes based on cutting-edge technologies and topics applying latest ML and AI technologies.
- Explore and experiment with a large variety of innovative solutions and technologies to assess their desirability, feasibility, and viability in a business context.
- Work on complex systems and integrate with SAP solutions.
- Show initiative and drive issues to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency.
- Easily move and learn new topics.
What you bring We're looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's in a related field. Student from Hasso Plattner Institute highly preferred.
Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor's, master's or JD/PhD program.
- Technical competence in one or more programming languages
- Knowledge of source control systems (Git) and Continuous Integration and Deployment tools (Jenkins)
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 31-56 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
