Opportunity Overview
The mission of the SAP Concur Business and Adoption Office is to help optimize our business to drive success. The Business Process Consultant will be responsible for global strategic initiatives and ongoing process optimization to deliver on-time, high-quality results that positively impact customer success, operational efficiencies, and capacity growth. This person will oversee projects and programs for the SAP Concur Solution Area organization and will interact with SAP Concur leaders around the world. Responsibilities will include working on cross-department initiatives with Services, MBS, sales, Customer Success, marketing, and product. Day to day will include working within global service account teams to project manage initiatives and evaluating these initiatives for applicability around the world. This is a high impact position requiring strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with exemplary planning and execution capabilities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, driven, and has proven success in building and delivering large-scale global programs in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. This role reports to a VP of Concur Solution Area Hub.
Position Responsibilities
- Work with Service Delivery and Global Services Operations to identify and drive a portfolio of strategic, organizational, and operational transformation initiatives
- Define and manage all program and project activities, including, but not limited to: scope and priority setting, help shape and/or drive technology and/or product requirements and scope from business requirements, project plans, identifying interdependencies, risk mitigation, issue tracking, quality management, resourcing, training and communication planning
- Plan and execute engagement process for adoption of global and regional methodology and best practices
- Drive stakeholder and leadership alignment across the business
- Ability to communicate to both executives and technology team members
- Build and monitor program metrics and KPI’s while providing regular updates to leadership
- Provide regular and timely communication of program status and progress towards goals
- Map out and document processes, highlighting improvement opportunities
- Build and lead effective change management and communication strategies
Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills
- Proven success in building and driving projects within a large, complex program, including managing international, multi-cultural, and virtual cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining project deliverables such as project charter, project management plan, status reports, project timesheets, communications plan, budget, and schedule
- Strong stakeholder management skills with focus on listening to stakeholder and customer needs
- Data analysis/statistics, tools, and presentation experience required
- Accurate and effective oral and written communication skills
- Experience with developing content
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Positive, customer-focused interpersonal skills and attitude
- Must be team oriented, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Significant personal initiative, high energy with a “can do” attitude and professional drive
- Critical thinking, ability to challenge thought processes productively, while maintaining strong business relationships
- Self-starter, flexible and adaptable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Teams
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ Years of project or program management experience, PMP preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills
- Strategic planning experience preferred
- SAP Concur implementation experience preferred
- Cloud software implementation experience
- Ability to pass a background check

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 70900 - 120400(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
