Position: SAP Datasphere Expert
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Pay Range: $60-65/hr
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Datasphere Integration & Migration Specialist to support a greenfield SAP Datasphere implementation, replacing an existing on-prem Informatica-based data integration environment. This role is highly hands-on and focused on designing, building, and validating end-to-end data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines.
The candidate will work closely with business, functional, and downstream teams to ensure accurate data migration and seamless integration with SAP SuccessFactors IMDB.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement SAP Datasphere data models, views, and data flows to replace legacy Informatica mappings
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT logic including joins, transformations, filters, and derivations
- Integrate on-prem source systems with SAP Datasphere and downstream systems (SuccessFactors IMDB)
- Ensure data structure and object parity between legacy and target systems (tables, fields, data types, keys)
- Perform data validation and reconciliation (record counts, aggregates, key-level checks, business rule validation)
- Support parallel runs and obtain business sign-off for migrated datasets
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for data models, mappings, and validation results
- Collaborate with analytics, functional, and business teams to resolve data discrepancies
- Configure spaces, data access controls (DAC), and roles for governance and security
- Support reporting and analytics using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power BI, or Analysis for Office
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere (data modeling, data flows, integrations)
- Solid ETL concepts with prior experience in Informatica or similar tools
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and reconciliation
- Experience integrating on-prem systems with cloud data platforms
- Experience validating structural and semantic data consistency during migrations
- Understanding of SuccessFactors / HR data models (preferred)
- Experience working independently in greenfield implementation and migration programs
- Strong communication skills and ownership mindset for data quality and delivery
