Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Management Analyst to support the Project Management Center of Excellence (PMCoE) through project reviews, governance support, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will work directly with project managers to review schedules, plans, status reports, and related artifacts for completeness, quality, and alignment to PMCoE standards.
The ideal candidate will identify issues such as missing tasks, dependency gaps, critical path concerns, documentation inconsistencies, and policy noncompliance. This individual will lead project reviews, provide hands-on guidance to project managers, and support PMO leadership in advancing PMCoE standards, governance, and operating practices.
Key Responsibilities
Project Review and Quality Oversight
- Lead project reviews to assess project health, quality, compliance, and readiness against PMCoE standards.
- Review schedules, plans, status reports, and related artifacts to identify gaps, sequencing concerns, dependency issues, critical path weaknesses, and inconsistencies
- Document findings, communicate required actions, and escalate recurring quality, compliance, or execution concerns as appropriate.
PM Support and PMCoE Guidance
- Work directly with project managers to help identify and resolve issues in project schedules and other project management artifacts.
- Provide guidance on PMCoE standards, templates, policies, and expectations, and reinforce use of standardized practices.
- Serve as a day-to-day PMCoE resource for project quality and governance questions.
PMCoE Process Improvement
- Support PMO leadership in advancing the PMCoE vision through improvements to governance, review practices, templates, standards, and quality controls.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that increase project management maturity, policy adherence, and delivery quality across the organization.
- Identify common delivery gaps and recommend process, template, or policy enhancements to improve consistency and PMO maturity.
Reporting and Governance Support
- Prepare summaries, findings, and recommendations from project reviews for leadership and stakeholders.
- Track review outcomes, recurring themes, and compliance trends across projects.
- Support governance reporting and broader PMO activities, including work in ServiceNow SPM, SharePoint, and other ad hoc support areas as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, PMO/PMCoE support, project controls, governance, scheduling analysis, or a related role.
- Working knowledge of project management principles, project lifecycle phases, and PMO/PMCoE governance practices.
- Ability to review project schedules and related artifacts to identify missing tasks, dependency gaps, sequencing concerns, milestone misalignment, baseline issues, and critical path risks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and experience reviewing schedules for task logic, dependencies, baselines, milestones, and critical path health.
- Experience working with ServiceNow SPM, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar tools.
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and documentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and provide constructive feedback.
- Willingness and ability to develop increasing expertise in ServiceNow SPM to support PMO operations, governance, reporting, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a PMO or PMCoE in a governance, quality, standards, or process improvement capacity.
- Experience using or supporting ServiceNow SPM and SharePoint for project records, reporting, dashboards, documentation, or governance workflows.
- Experience drafting or maintaining project management policies, procedures, SOPs, templates, job aids, or governance documentation.
- Familiarity with project review, audit, compliance, or quality assurance activities within a PMO environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Project in a PMO or project support environment.
- CAPM, PMP coursework, or other project management training/certification preferred.
- Experience in a regulated, enterprise, government, or government-adjacent environment preferred.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted annual combined range for this position is 69800-152300USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
