Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Technology Lead with deep expertise in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS), SAP S/4HANA RISE upgrades, and experience within the Medical Devices industry. The ideal candidate will lead technical architecture, integration, upgrade, and compliance initiatives while working closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and system integrators to support global trade and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and support of SAP GTS solutions across global operations.
- Drive SAP S/4HANA RISE upgrade initiatives, including technical planning, execution, testing, and post-go-live support.
- Provide technical leadership for SAP integrations involving GTS, S/4HANA, ECC, EWM, TM, SD, MM, and third-party systems.
- Collaborate with business and compliance teams to ensure adherence to global trade regulations, customs requirements, export controls, and sanctioned party screening.
- Define and enforce SAP development standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices.
- Lead technical workshops, solution design sessions, and architecture reviews.
- Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams to deliver project milestones on time and within budget.
- Support system performance optimization, security compliance, and application lifecycle management.
- Manage technical cutover activities, data migration support, and environment management during upgrades and deployments.
- Mentor developers and technical consultants and provide guidance on complex technical issues.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of SAP experience with at least 5+ years focused on SAP GTS.
- Strong experience leading SAP S/4HANA RISE migration or upgrade projects.
- Hands-on experience with SAP GTS Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management.
- Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies, including IDocs, RFCs, APIs, SAP CPI, and middleware platforms.
- Experience with SAP ABAP, enhancement frameworks, interfaces, and technical troubleshooting.
- Proven experience leading global SAP implementations and upgrade projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
