SAP HCM Technical Analyst (S/4HANA Transformation)
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for aSAP HCM Technical Analyst (S/4HANA Transformation)for JBS that works onsite at the corporate office in Greeley, Colorado.
JBS is seeking a highly experienced SAP HCM Techno-Functional Lead to support and drive transformation initiatives across our global HR systems landscape. This role combines deep expertise in SAP HCM, Payroll, ABAP development, and S/4HANA transformation with hands-on delivery and leadership responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in ECC to S/4HANA conversions, HR data integration, and payroll operations, along with the ability to partner across HR, Payroll, and IT to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient solutions.
Responsibilities:
- S/4HANA Transformation & Integration
- Lead and support ECC to S/4HANA HCM transformation initiatives, including Brownfield conversions and business partner (CVI) integration
- Drive integration of SAP HCM with upstream/downstream systems, including data replication, field mapping, and interface design
- Manage business partner synchronization (Employee/Vendor) and ensure data integrity across systems
- Support data migration, validation, and system readiness activities for transformation programs
- SAP HCM Functional & Payroll Support
- Provide hands-on configuration and support across SAP HCM modules, including:
- Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Payroll (PY), and Time Management
- Support full payroll lifecycle, including schemas, wage types, payroll postings, and compliance
- Troubleshoot complex payroll and HR issues, including production support and year-end updates
- Support global HR operations, including U.S. and Canadian payroll environments
- Technical Development (ABAP & Integrations)
- Design and deliver ABAP solutions (RICEFW) including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and workflows
- Develop and support integrations using BAPI, ALE/IDoc, and LSMW for data migration and interface processing
- Enhance and optimize existing custom programs to align with system design and performance standards
- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues across schema, reports, and interfaces
- Process Improvement & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders to improve end-to-end HR processes (Hire-to-Retire)
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and scalable system solutions
- Support testing efforts, including unit, integration, and UAT cycles
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and support documentation for ongoing operations
- Leadership & Delivery
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and offshore resources
- Support project planning, execution, and delivery across multiple initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to ensure successful implementations and support
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of SAP HCM experience, including both functional and technical (ABAP) capabilities
- Strong experience with:
- SAP ECC HCM and S/4HANA transformation initiatives
- Payroll configuration, schemas, wage types, and compliance
- ABAP development (reports, interfaces, enhancements)
- Proven experience supporting production systems and resolving complex issues
- Strong understanding of HR data structures, business processes, and system integrations
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or S/4HANA Payroll
- Experience with CVI (Customer Vendor Integration) and business partner conversion
- Experience with HR data migration and interface design
- Exposure to global payroll environments (U.S. and Canada)

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
- 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
- Base salary range of $92,000-$115,000;
- Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and

The posted salary range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the compensation that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, tenure, internal equity, market data, and may vary accordingly.
