Tailor Jobs require candidates to:
· Use of monogram machines- choosing colors and patterns
· Use of engraving machines- use of premade templates to engrave cufflinks
· Alterations- customizing and finishing garments to customer specifications
o Must be able to correctly measure length of pants, use the cutting machine, single stich machine and tacking machines to correctly perform alterations to pants as requested by customer in the form of both hems and cuffs.
o Must be able to correctly read VAS instructions to know Length that pants will be finished at, use correct thread color as requested by customer, perform correct alteration either cuff or hem.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for Tailor jobs:
· Experience with sewing and embroidery
· Experience with monogram and engraving machines, or willingness to learn
The starting pay rate for Tailor Jobs is $16.50 an hour, plus overtime as needed.
