Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Lead Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and hands-on ABAP/4 programming experience. The ideal candidate will lead SAP SD implementations, enhancements, support activities, and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SD solutions.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP SD functional specifications.
- Configure and support SAP SD processes including Order Management, Pricing, Shipping, Billing, Returns, and Credit Management.
- Work closely with technical teams and perform ABAP-related analysis, debugging, and development coordination.
- Develop and review functional and technical specifications for enhancements and custom developments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MM, FI, PP, and WM/EWM.
- Support system integrations, testing, data migration, and production deployments.
- Lead issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior consultants and provide technical leadership to project teams.
- Participate in project planning, stakeholder communication, and solution design workshops.
Required Skills
- Minimum 7 years of SAP SD configuration experience.
- Hands-on experience with ABAP/4 programming, debugging, and custom development support.
- Strong knowledge of SAP SD modules including:
- Sales Order Processing
- Pricing & Condition Techniques
- Shipping & Delivery Processing
- Billing & Invoicing
- Returns Management
- Credit Management
- Experience with SAP integrations and interfaces.
- Ability to prepare functional specifications and work closely with ABAP developers.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading SAP projects and stakeholder interactions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA SD.
- Knowledge of SAP MM, FI, WM/EWM integration points.
- Experience with SAP implementation, migration, or upgrade projects.
- SAP SD Certification is a plus.
