SAP is a global leader in business application software, and they are seeking a dynamic intern to assist the Supply Chain Management Planning lead. The role involves supporting logistics for events aimed at enhancing customer engagement and value realization through effective communication and planning.
Responsibilities
- Draft and edit both internal and external event-related communications, including newsletters, customer invitations, follow-up emails, visitor guides, etc
- Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and ensure consistent branding across all communications
- Create digital assets for all post-event materials
- Assist with tasks leading up to an event such as creating microsites, name badges, customer introduction decks, customer networking dinner research, etc
- Manage up-to date registration reports within our internal platform
- Support content development for presentations, social media posts, and other marketing materials
- Compile insights and feedback from past events to inform future programming
- Draft post-event recaps and summary reports for internal distribution
- Assist in tracking customer participation, feedback, and engagement metrics
- Maintain an organized repository of materials for future reference and scalability
Skills
- Marketing, Commerce, Communications, Event Management, Business Administration related degree (Bachelor's, Master's, MBA)
- You should be a team player, with a self-starter attitude and the ability to work with minimal direction
- Strong communication/writing and organization skills are important
- Above all, you should be passionate about technology, customer experience, event & communications management, and value realization
- Top skills or competencies: Project Management, Event Management, Strong Relationship/Interpersonal skills, Detail Oriented, Curious, Demonstrated Self Starter and Fast Learner, Strong written communication skills (email, PPT, marketing content), Intermediate Excel skills, Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Canva), Strong organizational skills, Business Acumen, Consultative Skills, Demonstrated previous experience in the above areas, Demonstrate strong collaboration skills, Proficient in content creation, Website management, Digital Media experience an asset
