Role Description This is a contract role for a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing SAP ABAP solutions, including ALV reports and IDocs, to support business processes. Responsibilities also include providing technical expertise in user exits, BAPIs, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). This is a hybrid position based in Newark, CA, with some work-from-home flexibility. Core Responsibilities Develop and enhance S/4HANA APIs (OData/REST) for sales order, delivery, and billing (create/change/update flows) Build and support RICEFW objects with strong focus on performance and scalability Implement and troubleshoot user exits, BAdIs, and enhancement points for OTC, P2P, and FICO processes Design and optimize CDS Views and HANA-based data models Handle middleware integrations (CPI/MuleSoft/Workato) including data mapping and message structures Support data migration, replication, and master data enhancements (Customer, Vendor, Material) Develop and maintain output forms (Adobe Forms/SmartForms) and output determination logic Implement pricing enhancements (requirements, routines, condition techniques, alternate calculations) Debug and resolve production issues with quick turnaround Collaborate with functional teams to deliver end-to-end technical solutions across OTC, P2P, and Finance Required and Must Have Skills Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer with BRF+ expertise in the RAR module. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in configuring and implementing SAP RAR modules within the S/4HANA landscape. Develop and enhance SAP ABAP programs, interfaces, and reports to meet business requirements. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. SAP certification in ABAP development and/or RAR module. Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
