IT Analyst – Plant Maintenance
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for anIT Analyst – Plant Maintenancefor JBS that reports onsite to our corporate office in Greeley, Colorado.
Working under supervision and following established IT procedures helps senior analysts create specifications and deliverables for Plant Maintenance and Quality Assurance projects. Collects and organizes information about technology, business processes, and systems. Assists with the design, setup, and upkeep of small or simple system projects.
Studies company functions and processes to make computer-based business applications more efficient. Acts as a link between technical IT staff and non-technical business users to help meet their information needs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver IT projects: Finish assigned IT tasks on time and within scope.
- Work with business teams: Help business units improve their processes.
- Boost IT efficiency: Make the IT department more productive.
- Plan system improvements: Team up with stakeholders to shape future system strategies.
- Fix system issues: Solve system and app problems with plant staff.
- Support production: Handle daily production issues and join on-call support.
- Use best practices: Apply proven methods to improve applications at JBS.
- Engage stakeholders: Identify business challenges and suggest practical solutions.
- Coordinate projects: Organize project work with teams and vendors.
- Be detail-oriented and flexible: Pay attention to detail and adapt to changes.
- Build stakeholder trust: Earn trust with key project partners.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new concepts and actively participate in hands-on work environments.
- Basic understanding of meat plant operations, including practices related to Quality Assurance and Maintenance.
- Prior experience in Poultry, Beef, or Pork manufacturing facilities is preferred.
- Strong technical skills; experience in project management is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree (four-year) or equivalent relevant industry experience required.
- Proficiency in SAP systems (with a preference for Plant Maintenance) or other leading maintenance management software.
- Basic familiarity with IT processes, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and various project management methodologies.
- Working knowledge of SQL databases.
- Excellent functional and technical writing skills, with the ability to present information using text, graphics, and statistical formats.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Visio, Project, and SharePoint.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
- 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
- Base salary range of $70,000-$80,000;
- Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
