Position: SAP FICO Consultant
Location: Tampa, FL (100% Onsite)
Contract Length: 12 Months
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced
SAP FICO Consultant to join a large enterprise undergoing a major SAP landscape modernization. This role supports the Finance and Procurement functional areas and plays a key part in ensuring a smooth transition during an S/4HANA‑related upgrade initiative. The consultant will collaborate with technical and functional teams across multiple workstreams to strengthen end‑to‑end financial and cost‑related processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional expertise across SAP FI and CO, with a heavy focus on Costing.
- Support configuration, testing, and rollout activities within a multi‑module SAP environment.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure strong integration with:
- Production Planning (PP)
- Sales and Distribution / SOP
- Assist with month-end closing tasks and cost flow analysis.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and help stabilize the system during the transformation period.
- Contribute to documentation, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions.
Required Skills & Background
- Hands‑on, advanced experience with SAP FICO, particularly in Controlling (CO) and cost management capabilities.
- Experience in at least two full lifecycle SAP implementations or rollouts.
- Strong understanding of Material Ledger and cost flow functionality.
- Working knowledge of:
- General Accounting
- Fixed Assets
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Management
- Treasury processes and bank/EDI integration
- Solid understanding of integration points between FICO, PP, and SD/SOP.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Experience with Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions.
- Familiarity with Vertex or other tax management tools.
Work Arrangement
- This is a fully onsite role in Tampa, FL, requiring daily presence for collaboration with project and business teams.
