Description:
The Training Operations Data Analyst will provide execution support for enterprise workforce capability initiatives. This role focuses on collecting, structuring, and analyzing data to support competency frameworks, training analytics, and workforce gap tracking. The analyst will work under the direction of program management to operationalize defined models, populate systems, and produce clear, reliable insights that enable informed decision-making. This role plays a critical role in enabling successful execution of approved initiatives.
Collect, synthesize, clean, and structure data related to job roles, skills, training, and certifications across Operations. • Support the development and maintenance of competency and skills taxonomy artifacts by mapping data to defined frameworks. • Populate data within learning and workforce systems (e.g., LMS, spreadsheets, reporting tools) based on established standards. • Aggregate training and capability data to support gap analysis and workforce readiness insights. • Assist with the implementation and documentation of training pathways by maintaining data, artifacts, and system entries aligned to approved models. • Create dashboards, reports, and data views that clearly communicate trends, coverage, and gaps to program leadership. • Track defined KPIs and metrics related to training participation, skills coverage, and capability readiness. • Document data sources, assumptions, workflows, and processes to ensure transparency and continuity. • Coordinate with SMEs, HR, IT, and Operations partners to gather inputs and validate data accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field. • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data modeling) and experience querying data using SQL. • Experience creating dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple data streams and priorities with high attention to detail. • Clear written and verbal communication skills, particularly in documenting processes and explaining data outputs. Preferred Skills (Not Necessary) • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or workforce development platforms. • Exposure to competency mapping, skills frameworks, or workforce analytics. • Experience with Python or R for data analysis or automation. • Knowledge of data integration or ETL tools.
