Responsibilities
- Provide support to the HanaHaus team, assisting with day-to-day business tasks
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, and dashboards to support effective decision-making by stakeholders
- Research, design, and execute innovative operations processes to enhance and scale the business
- Conduct financial forecasting and track product utilization
- Improve and document finance processes, automating them whenever possible
- Gather data and contribute to the preparation of monthly and quarterly presentations for leadership meetings
- Leverage various sources of user and financial information to identify and recommend new business opportunities
- Actively participate in strategic projects
- Collaborate with technical experts and non-technical stakeholders to assist in product management and guide the translation of business objectives into product development goals
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and investigations to ensure data quality
- Define, develop, and maintain critical business and operational reports reviewed on a regular basis
- Analyze historical data to extract meaningful insights, identify trends, and support decision-making through written and verbal presentation of results and recommendations
- Extract information from multiple data sources, perform exploratory data analysis, and identify correlations and patterns to meet business needs
Skills
- Education: Bachelor's in Business Information Management / Business Analytics / Finance / Data Analytics / Data Science / Computer Science, or enrolled in Master's
- Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor's, master's or JD/PhD program
- Solid foundation in data analysis, financial reporting, business development, and product operations
- Proficiencies in Excel, Python, and SQL are a must
- Ability to identify customer needs and create/drive solutions
- Ability to translate trends to actionable ways to anticipate customer and market needs
- Ability to build trust across the organization and be a good team player
- Ability to tackle challenges head-on and effectively manage deadlines with self-motivation
- Ability to identify obstacles and attack new issues, contributing meaningfully to a collaborative team dynamic
- Previous experience in finance reporting, data analysis, business development and product operations
- A willingness to learn and grow into the role
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Advanced SQL knowledge (e.g. window functions, recursive queries) highly preferred
- Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Metabase
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for revenue reporting and analysis
- Experience using Python and pandas to automate data processing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Metabase
