Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced ProServe Cloud Architect to join their Professional Services team. In this role, you'll design and implement tailored cloud solutions, providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the customer's cloud journey while collaborating with Account Managers and customers to ensure realistic and achievable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Designing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions to deliver customer business outcomes (CBOs)
- Providing technical guidance and best practices during pre-sales and implementation phases
- Collaborating with Account Managers and Customers to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievable
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
- Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field
- 5+ years of cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience, or AWS Associate level certification
- Experience with software development lifecycle, or experience with training and deploying machine learning systems to solve large-scale optimizations
- 3+ years of experience in SAP Technical or Functional areas
- Knowledge of AWS services, such as Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Elastic Block Storage (EBS), and Simple Storage Service (S3)
- Experience with compliance & security standards including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST
- Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies
- Experience in communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Advanced technology degree or AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred
- Experienced in proposing solutions, developing estimates and responding to request for information
