Job Description Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP PPDS Consultant
This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose, and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
Location of the requirement is Foster City, CA. The role may require travel to project/Client location.

Preferred Qualifications: - At least 11 years of Deep expertise in SAP PPDS, including heuristics, planning boards, DS boards, and alerts.
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA PPDS, APO-PPDS, and MRP Live.
- Strong understanding of repetitive manufacturing and quality management (QM).
- Experience with CIF integration between ECC and APO.
- Familiarity with IBP and integration via CPI-DS is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- SAP Certification in PPDS or PP/QM.
- Experience in Life Sciences or Medical Devices domain.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (FDA, ISO).

- Lead and deliver SAP S/4HANA PPDS implementations and rollouts.
- Configure and optimize Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution design sessions.
- Manage master data setup: BOMs, routings, production versions, resources, recipes.
- Implement scheduling strategies, capacity planning, and optimization techniques.
- Integrate PPDS with other SAP modules: MM, SD, QM, WM.
- Provide end-user training, testing support, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, and other life sciences regulations.
- Work independently and manage multiple priorities across project phases.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
