Advantra is partnering with a public sector organization in Buffalo to hire an SAP SRM Consultant to support Extended Procurement operations and maintain procurement systems within a large SAP landscape.
About the role
You will support and enhance SAP SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) processes within the Application Management Services (AMS) team. The role includes managing procurement workflows, resolving incidents, performing configuration updates, and ensuring efficient integration between SRM and other SAP modules.
Responsibilities
Provide functional and technical support for SAP SRM Extended Procurement.
Configure and maintain SRM components related to sourcing, procurement, and supplier management.
Monitor and resolve SRM incidents, ensuring system availability and performance.
Collaborate with MM and FI teams to manage integration points and master data consistency.
Support end-users with issue resolution, testing, and process documentation.
Participate in upgrades, patching, and enhancement activities.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and data governance standards.
Work with vendors and internal IT teams to improve procurement process automation.
Core requirements
6+ years of SAP SRM experience, including Extended Procurement configuration.
Proven experience supporting SRM in production environments.
Understanding of SRM integration with ECC modules (MM, FI).
Hands-on experience with supplier master, sourcing, and catalog management.
Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
Experience with workflow configuration and approval processes.
Familiarity with SAP transport management and change control.
Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
Nice to have
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Procurement or Ariba.
Familiarity with SRM UI add-ons and portal integration.
Public sector procurement process knowledge.
Experience with SAP Solution Manager for incident tracking.
