SAP S/4HANA Transition Project Manager -Bilingual Japanese/English - Temporary

Location: New York City (Manhattan) - Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week)
Contract: 12-Month Initial Contract (with potential extension - Multi-year project)
Start Date: September 2026 (Target)

Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Transition Project Manager to lead an SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration as part of a global ERP transformation programme. The role requires close collaboration with U.S. and Japan-based stakeholders, implementation partners, and senior business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of an SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration.
Manage project planning, governance, risks, and stakeholder communications.
Coordinate business, IT, and external implementation partners.
Lead project meetings, reporting, and executive updates.
Ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.

Skills & Experience

10+ years' experience managing enterprise ERP transformation projects.
Proven SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration project management experience (essential).
Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience.
Business to native-level Japanese and English (essential).
Experience working across Japanese and international teams.
Able to work onsite in Manhattan 2-3 days per week.
